Murakami, Asako
I became midwife after giving birth to my first baby in Germany. I worked at Red Cross Hospital in Omori for 15 years as a midwife.
Now I work as a freelance home visit midwife.
I used to stay a few years in USA in my childhood, Korea, and Germany, too.
I had a happy childbirth, supported by a wonderful nurse, midwife and doctor in Germany. Although I loved my baby so much, I was sometimes confused about raising my baby in different cultures and language. If you have any questions about breastfeeding or child rearing in Japan, have any troubles, I would be happy to be able to help you.
